Young Life Leader
The heart of Young Life is Young Life leaders building relationships with high school students. In essence, they earn the right to be heard by entering the world of teenagers and getting to know them. Young Life leaders show up in the lives of teenagers and share the love of Christ through the friendships they build with high school kids. 1 Thessalonians 2:8 says, "We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our very lives as well." Young Life leaders share the gospel by showing up where kids are. They go to football games, basketball games, band practices, school plays, school parking lots, and many other places where they can get to know high school students better.
We are looking for more adults to go where kids are and build relationships with the hopes of sharing the love of Christ. What makes a good Young Life leader? There are three simple criteria for a good Young Life leader. 1- They have a relationship with Jesus Christ. 2-They have a passion for high school kids. 3- They are willing to go hang out with them.
